NetVU History

NetVU is a unique organization because of its very foundation—as well as its reason for being—is people. NetVU was created by independent agents to do things smarter, faster and better. Our members are and always have been business people who want to achieve more through automation.

We’ve come so far as an organization and as an industry. NetVU has seen dedicated leaders emerge and guide us all along the way. Step-by-step—and airline mile-by-airline mile—each of our leaders has volunteered his or her time, brainpower, negotiating savvy and energy to make our organization stronger.

We all are born wanting to make a difference—to impact the world in some way. Our past leadership and all the volunteers who have come together within NetVU have made that kind of difference. Their commitment, their guidance and their unceasing passion have made the industry stronger, have made independent agents more successful, and have empowered countless users throughout the country. NetVU’s thriving, successful membership is the legacy of NetVU’s volunteers—and we are so much better because they took the time to make a difference.

Legacy Walk 

NetVU’s Legacy Walk, opened in 2007, honors NetVU’s accomplishments and leadership and pays tribute to the significant volunteer contributions made by our leading members since our founding in 1978.
