Lu O’Connor, education coordinator, Tawas Bay Agency, Inc.

“I met many new people and came back with some great ideas for education events for our local Chapter in Houston.  Thanks so much to the NetVU staff for planning and hosting this event.”

NetVU Guild

NetVU’s mission focuses on building the future by utilizing the expertise of our volunteers to promote world class education.  NetVU was built by members helping members, and the backbone of NetVU is our local Chapters. With this in mind, we are pleased to invite you and your Chapter members to become a member of the NetVU Educators Guild. The Guild will be a source for our Chapters to find high quality teaching talent and classroom content. This curriculum will also help you in your work in the industry as you teach employees, speak at meetings, and work to assist others in their use of the systems.

In order to become a member of the Guild, you must complete five one-hour webinars, one short test, and one peer review. We encourage all instructors to become members of the Guild.

We encourage Chapter leaders to become members of the Guild, and encourage your presenters and members to become members of the Guild.

What others are saying about the NetVU Educators Guild…

“Even if you have been presenting at conference for years as I had, you WILL benefit from the information you take away from the Educators Guild program.  I incorporated several items into my day-to-day training and presentations and brought value back to my agency.”

Kathie Ryan, JW Terrill, Inc.

“The additional training provided helped fine-tune my presentation skills for my duties here at work. You are always Presenting in whatever job or position you have, even if you are not in formal training. The skills provided thru this program will help strengthen your skills, and will result in increased confidence and professionalism, which will help you progress in all levels of your job.”

Dawn Mathews, The IMA Financial Group

“Even though I took speech in High School, honed my skills in college, and present a lot for my business, I learned new aspects of speaking I did not know before!  In addition, there's a whole section about how NetVU and Vertafore work together that I found both interesting and useful in my endeavors!

To be truly successful, you need to strive for excellence in everything you do!  The NetVU Educators Guild course provides both a baseline education level of how to present, but also what is required for you to have an excellent presentation.  By raising the level of all speakers that belong to NetVU, we increase the value of both the Chapters and the NetVU Conference.  We owe it to ourselves and to our fellow members to do everything possible to be the best at what we do when we present. This way we leverage our expertise in what we know to advance the industry, thereby solving more solutions for all of our customers. Doesn't get any better than that!”

Steve O'Neal, Rocket Software Inc.

“I am more confident when addressing people as a group. That it is very rewarding, and teaches you how to relax and not get flustered when speaking.  So many times you get a — what do I do now feeling — and this helps you know what to do when that happens, and eliminates that short panic moment.”

Margaret Stahl, Galyean Insurance Agency
