NetVU Stories

NetVU (Network of Vertafore Users) is a vibrant community of insurance professionals who come together online, in local Chapters, PowerUsers and NetVU Conference. NetVU focuses on education (e.g., how to use your system), industry advocacy, and networking by organizing opportunities for users to connect, both virtually and face to face.

People are what make NetVU great. Here are their stories.

Number of years involved with NetVU: 15

Q: Who introduced you to NetVU?
A: It was just from attending Conference. My initial interaction was at the member services booth, where Melissa Bond sold me everything the booth had to offer plus a discussion about talking to Theresa Gerba regarding Chapters.

Q: What has been the greatest value you have found in being a part of NetVU?

A: The relationships that have helped to grow our agency’s capabilities and to gain a stronger ROI on our technology investments.

Q: Can you share a story that illustrates your most memorable moment as a part of the community?
A: There are too many to talk about! When I ended my chairmanship at the closing party at the Wild Horse Saloon, I walked around the venue thanking as many people as I could for everything they did and for attending our Conference. It was more humbling to hear them thanking me for what I had done as a volunteer and how this organization has helped them grow.

Q: What have you learned from the NetVU community?
A: NetVU is not only an association of building awareness of automation strategies, but of people who are effectively the brightest and best in this industry — people gathering to help you find the best strategies to run your business and to make each other become more successful as a business and as a person.

Q: How do you see NetVU relating to your goals for the future?
A: NetVU will always be the reference point to drive directional strategies from sales to service.

Do you have an interesting story to tell about your involvement with NetVU?
