Kitty Ambers, CPIA, CIC, CISR
Chief Executive Officer
Kitty joined NetVU in 2013. She is responsible for the strategic direction of the organization, corporate oversight, all staffing issues and the organization’s budget. Kitty reports directly to the Executive Board of Directors on a regular basis.
Member Relations Manager
Melissa has been with NetVU since 1998 and currently works from her home in Austin, Texas. In her current role as Director of Member Relations, she is responsible for new member and volunteer onboarding, as well as representing NetVU in the industry. She also assists with Corporate Partners, Conference Sponsors and Exhibits. Working with the Chair-elect, she coordinates volunteers for committee assignments, and maintains communications with members about volunteerism and stewardship. NetVU works tirelessly to grow member engagement and Melissa is responsible for tracking engagement throughout the lifecycle of NetVU members. She is also leading the charge to bring a more internal volunteer focused culture at NetVU. Melissa reports to Kitty Ambers.
Lynn Walsh Albertson
Business Development Coordinator
Lynn brings to the NetVU staff significant experience in insurance industry business development, project management, special events, marketing, sales, customer service, and member support. She reports to Melissa Bond, NetVU’s member relations manager.
Member Services Specialist
Dianne is responsible for answering phone calls and for maintaining membership information in our database by adding new members and updating member profiles. She also assists with event registrations for our members. Dianne reports to Melissa Bond.
Member Relations Specialist
Brittany joined NetVU in 2016 as the Operations Assistant. She handles all reception and general clerical duties for the entire office. She is responsible for answering phone calls and emails from firstname.lastname@example.org, and is the primary contact for event registrations for our membership. Brittany reports to Melissa Bond.
Mandy joined NetVU's education department in 2012. She prepares monthly financial reports, manages expense reimbursements via Concur, processes payables and receivables, helps with event registrations, and assists with budgeting. Mandy reports to Kitty Ambers.

Debbie Ivie, CPCU, AIM, NcIA
Learning Experience Manager
In twenty-five+ years in the independent agency system, Debbie has used her talents and experience to influence the strategic success of a number of prominent Dallas-area agencies. Debbie’s current role as Learning Experience Manager with NetVU allows her to leverage this experience to the benefit of our members. Debbie’s areas of particular expertise are accounting, agency operations, HR and marketing. Using the experience gained through assignments that have taken her across the state. She has developed a unique ability to see both big picture agency development and operational strategy, as well as a keen eye for important details that impact overall agency performance. Debbie is responsible for all areas education and building education designed to help NetVU members fully utilize their Vertafore products. Debbie works with the various education committees to develop education for all events.Debbie reports to Kitty Ambers.
Lauren (Batch) Crosby, CMP works from her home in San Diego, California and oversees our more than 50 active chapters and works closely with the Chapter Committee members to grown chapter participation and improve the quality of Chapter programs. Lauren reports to Debbie Ivie.
Chapter Support Specialist
Whitney joined NetVU in April of 2014, and has enjoyed every step of the way. Whitney enjoys working with the wonderful members of NetVU and with her fellow co-workers. Her position at NetVU is to provide administrative support of Chapter meetings and events.
Whitney reports to Debbie Ivie.
Brittany Samantha Brockman
Brittany is enthusiastic about supporting initiatives to build, grow and enhance our various learning experience opportunities, and looks forward to interacting with NetVU members. Brittany reports to Debbie Ivie.
Jeff brings extensive experience in convention management and over 25 years of experience in insurance association work. Jeff is responsible for the oversight of all NetVU Conferences, meetings and workshops, and works closely with our vendors on logistics and hospitality specifications. Jeff is an independent contractor with NetVU.
Liz brings experience in meeting management coupled with insurance association expertise. She is responsible for coordinating logistics and deliverables for NetVU Corporate Partners, event sponsors and exhibitors. Questions about partnership offerings can be directed to Liz. Liz also assist with oversight meeting logistics for various NetVU events. Liz is an independent contractor with NetVU.
Interim Marketing Manager
In her role at NetVU, Laura oversees and leads the planning of strategic marketing initiatives and execution of marketing projects. She has over fifteen years of sales and marketing experience within the insurance industry, and has a strong background in growing organizations through client and agent engagement. Laura works with NetVU through its relationship with Chromium Branding.
Julie has been with NetVU since 1987 and has a solid understanding of our membership and our organization. She coordinates all outgoing messaging, creates the newsletters, assists with volunteer/committee organization, helps keep the website updated, maintains the unsubscribe list (re-subscribing users), database updates, coordinates the photography and awards orders for Conference, and is the staff liaison to the Past Presidents Council. Julie reports to Kitty Ambers.
Hillarie works from her home in Wilmington, North Carolina and is our social media and NCOM guru. During events like NetVU Conference and PowerUsers, she has full oversight of the Events app. Hillarie reports to Kitty Ambers.
OPERATIONS / TECHNOLOGY
Lance Kendrick Stanton
Lance has over 12 years of IT, training development and management experience. Coordinating priorities between the IT department and user departments to assemble or execute IT Project Group meeting agendas. Lance is responsible for liaising with our external IT consultant(s) about the problems, assessing their urgency and implementing effective strategies. He provides all facets of technical support for NetVU’s IT infrastructure, customer relationship and system administration. Lance reports to Kitty Ambers.
