This article was updated on 3/16/2022 to reflect updates to our health policies for Accelerate.

We are moving forward with our plans to have an in-person Accelerate, powered by NetVU, March 28-31, 2022.

A group of your peers has been meeting during the past few months to establish and develop NetVU’s COVID-19 policies and procedures related to attending Accelerate. Last week, the NetVU executive board of directors approved these policies and I’m sharing them with you today.

NetVU will follow all federal, state, and local COVID-19 guidelines. In the absence of federal, state, or local guidelines or policies:

  1. NetVU requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to attend Accelerate.
  2. NetVU recommends that attendees wear masks that cover both the nose and mouth during the conference. We will have masks available on site for attendees wishing to wear masks for the event.
  3. NetVU recommends that all unvaccinated attendees take a COVID-19 PCR test or approved COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Self-Test within 72 hours of traveling to Denver to detect current infection. (NetVU, pending availability, will have COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Self-Tests available on site.)
  4. NetVU will ask that attendees maintain social distancing when able.
  5. NetVU asks that you notify us at [email protected] if you test positive on site or upon returning home. NetVU intends to notify attendees of a COVID-19 infection, following all local and state guidelines for notification.

What we’ve learned, and heard from many members, after two years of virtual-only Accelerate is that we are desperately missing the human connection. You have missed the ability to meet and network with people just like you, facing the same challenges as you, every day. But you’ve also missed making critically important connections with Vertafore solutions experts, exhibitors and partner organizations who can deliver solutions for your organizations, and expanding your networks to include people from organizations vastly different from your own in order to learn from them as well.

NetVU is moving forward while considering the vastly disparate approaches to mitigating the spread of COVID-19 across our country. It’s clear that there isn’t a one-size fits all approach to putting on an event at the scale of Accelerate, but we feel the policies and procedures that we have come up with helps to address broadly what we can do from a health and safety perspective for our members.

I hope to welcome you in Denver in March. Please contact me directly if you have an questions or concerns about these guidelines and hosting Accelerate, powered by NetVU.
