Chief Executive Officer
Kitty joined NetVU in 2013. She is responsible for the strategic direction of the organization, corporate oversight, all staffing issues and the organization’s budget. Kitty reports directly to the Executive Board of Directors on a regular basis.
Member Relations / Advocacy
Member Relations Manager
Melissa has been with NetVU since 1998 and currently works from her home in Austin, Texas. In her current role as Director of Member Relations, she is responsible for new member and volunteer onboarding, as well as representing NetVU in the industry. She also assists with Corporate Partners, Conference Sponsors and Exhibits. Working with the Chair-elect, she coordinates volunteers for committee assignments, and maintains communications with members about volunteerism and stewardship. NetVU works tirelessly to grow member engagement and Melissa is responsible for tracking engagement throughout the lifecycle of NetVU members. She is also leading the charge to bring a more internal volunteer focused culture at NetVU. Melissa reports to Kitty Ambers.
Lynn Walsh Albertson
Business Development Coordinator
Lynn brings to the NetVU staff significant experience in insurance industry business development, project management, special events, marketing, sales, customer service, and member support. She is responsible for coordinating logistics and deliverables for NetVU Corporate Partners, event sponsors and exhibitors. Questions about partnership offerings can be directed to Lynn. She reports to Melissa Bond, NetVU’s member relations manager.
As part of the Member Relations team reporting to Melissa Bond, Liz brings experience in meeting management coupled with insurance association expertise. Liz assists with oversight of meeting logistics and partner deliverables for various NetVU programs and events.
Member Services Specialist
Dianne is responsible for answering phone calls and for maintaining membership information in our database by adding new members and updating member profiles. She also assists with event registrations for our members. Dianne reports to Melissa Bond.
Member Relations Specialist
Karen’s primary function is to help our members connect with their member resources and ensure that members are welcomed to the NetVU community. She is responsible for answering the phone with a smile and making sure inquiries to Info@NetVU.org are routed appropriately. Karen looks forward to welcoming you to NetVU. She reports to Melissa Bond.
Debbie Ivie, CPCU, AIM, NcIA
Learning Experience Manager
In twenty-five+ years in the independent agency system, Debbie has used her talents and experience to influence the strategic success of a number of prominent Dallas-area agencies. Debbie’s current role as Learning Experience Manager with NetVU allows her to leverage this experience to the benefit of our members. Debbie’s areas of particular expertise are accounting, agency operations, HR and marketing. Using the experience gained through assignments that have taken her across the state. She has developed a unique ability to see both big picture agency development and operational strategy, as well as a keen eye for important details that impact overall agency performance. Debbie is responsible for all areas education and building education designed to help NetVU members fully utilize their Vertafore products. Debbie works with the various education committees to develop education for all events. Debbie reports to Kitty Ambers.
Lauren (Batch) Crosby, CMP works from her home in San Diego, California and oversees our more than 50 active chapters and works closely with the Chapter Committee members to grown chapter participation and improve the quality of Chapter programs. Lauren reports to Debbie Ivie.
Chapter Support Specialist
Whitney joined NetVU in April of 2014, and has enjoyed every step of the way. Whitney enjoys working with the wonderful members of NetVU and with her fellow co-workers. Her position at NetVU is to provide administrative support of Chapter meetings and events. Whitney reports to Debbie Ivie.
Brittany is enthusiastic about supporting initiatives to build, grow and enhance our various learning experience opportunities, and looks forward to interacting with NetVU members. Brittany reports to Debbie Ivie.
Jeff brings extensive experience in convention management and over 25 years of experience in insurance association work. Jeff is responsible for the oversight of all NetVU Conferences, meetings and workshops, and works closely with our vendors on logistics and hospitality specifications. Jeff is an independent contractor with NetVU.
Interim Marketing Manager / NetVU Marketing Consultant
As our Interim Marketing Manager, Laura is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and executing creative projects from beginning to end, while collaborating with other members of the NetVU team as well as our partners. Our Marketing Team manages tight deadlines and a multitude of activities including event app design and implementation, conceiving and leading promotional campaigns for NetVU programs and events, increasing NetVU’s presence on appropriate Social Media platforms, increasing engagement on NCOM, improving our website, and creating valuable member communications such as newsletters and blog posts. In her role as NetVU's Marketing Consultant, Laura coordinates strategic marketing initiatives, oversees content development, and is our primary media relations contact. Laura works with NetVU through its relationship with Aartrijk.
Graphic Design Specialist / Marketing Coordinator
Jenny comes to NetVU with a background in strategic digital marketing, with special interest in video and multi-media production. After eight years working with global luxury brand Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty, she invested a year in freelance web and graphic design before joining the NetVU team in 2017. She is passionate about finding unique, engaging, creative solutions to the trickiest of marketing problems.
Jenny holds a BA in Political Science with a concentration in French. She has lived in France, New York, Tennessee, and currently is loving life in Denton, TX with her husband, Justin, and their three boys, Jude, Noah, and Ezra. Jenny is an avid coffee and art lover. Jenny reports to Hillarie Holcomb.
Operations / Technology
Amanda joined NetVU in 2012 as part of our Education Department, but has a passion for Accounting so have moved into the role of Staff Accountant. She prepares monthly financial reports, manages expense reimbursements via Concur, processes payables and receivables, helps with event registrations, and assists with budgeting. Mandy reports to Kitty Ambers.
Lance Kendrick Stanton
Office Support Specialist
Lance has over 12 years of experience in various areas. As the NetVU Office Support Specialist, he fulfills a variety of roles in the office environment, including responsibility for ensuring that office equipment is fully functional, supporting logistics of office meetings and the office’s day-to-day operations, and providing support for the business by regularly compiling company documentation and reports. The Office Support Specialist reports to the Irving Site Manager, Debbie Ivie.
