Brent Rineck Honored at Accelerate, Powered by NetVU

NetVU Leadership Award in Memory of Louie E. Woodbury Jr.

Brent Rineck, NetVU past chairman, was honored posthumously with the 2022 Leadership Award in Memory of Louie E. Woodbury Jr. at Accelerate, powered by NetVU. Brent served on the NetVU board from 2014–2018 and as chairman in 2017. He was widely respected for his contributions to the insurance technology industry before his passing in late 2021.


Barb Dale, NetVU past chair, shared that Brent was, “a teacher, a coach, and a mentor. He was able to help me and others understand technology at our level.”

Brent’s husband, Dan Wickering, accepted the award, which was presented by Jessica Jeffress, NetVU past chairman. Jessica recalled that Brent embodied the sense of community that NetVU is known for, and he willingly shared his experiences, along with the latest app, tip or trick. During Brent’s time as chairman, he oversaw the process to rename NetVU’s annual conference to Accelerate, powered by NetVU.
