Click Here to Register for the Session NetVU Speakers Guild Training Series Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 | 1 - 2:00 p.m. CT | Virtual Instructor: Kelly Donahue-Piro This is a four-part series designed to equip you with the skills, confidence, and clarity you need to lead exceptional sessions. Each quarter we'll focus on sharpening a core competency — from organizing content and commanding a room, to speaking with precision about who NetVU is and how to run meetings that actually get things done. Whether you're a first-time facilitator or a seasoned presenter, this series will help you show up stronger for your fellow members. Content Organization - July 15th at 1 pm CT Great sessions don't start with slides — they start with structure. This session helps speakers organize their ideas clearly and deliberately, so every presentation has a strong opening, a logical flow, and a purposeful close that sticks with your audience. Speaking & Facilitation Skills - TBD Knowing your content is only half the job. This session focuses on the skills that bring it to life — your voice, your presence, and your ability to guide a room. Participants will explore techniques for engaging audiences, managing group dynamics, and facilitating with confidence whether in person or online. Messaging: NetVU vs. Vertafore - TBD Our speakers are the face of NetVU — and speaking with clarity about who we are matters. This collaborative session helps presenters navigate the distinction between NetVU and Vertafore, find the right language for common questions, and represent our community with accuracy and confidence. Running an Effective Meeting - TBD From roundtables to working sessions, our speakers lead meetings that members count on. This session covers the essentials: how to plan with purpose, keep things on track, close with clarity, and make sure every meeting is worth the time of everyone in the room. The NetVU Speakers Guild Exists to empower presenters to feel confident, prepared, and effective - whether they are speaking on stage at Accelerate or leading a virtual session.
