2024 Awards Recognition

 
Each year NetVU gives special recognition to members for exceptional service and dedication to its mission. The winners this year have demonstrated dedication to NetVU and their lasting contributions and service to the insurance industry have been felt by many.

Winners were announced for the Leadership Award in Memory of Louie E. Woodbury Jr., Volunteer Service Award in Memory of James M. Gibson, and Insurance Technology Advocate Award in Memory of Wade S. Dunbar Jr. at Accelerate in New Orleans.


Leadership Award

The Leadership Award in Memory of Louie E. Woodbury Jr. honors long time leadership, proven achievement and contribution to NetVU and our industry.  The recipient of this award is recognized as a leader in their community, the industry and within NetVU in support of our mission. The NetVU mission is, “We build the future by utilizing the expertise of our volunteers and staff to promote world-class education, the exchange of ideas, advocacy and technology innovation in the insurance industry."

Volunteer Service Award

The Volunteer Service Award in memory of James M. Gibson is presented by NetVU to an individual who embodies the dedication and commitment it takes to represent NetVU’s mission. It is intended to recognize for providing outstanding volunteer service to NetVU and our community of members during the past year through leading by example and through results.
